The courses are held in the Old Coach house at the Old Manse, which has a vicmark 300 and vicmark 100 lathe, dust collection facilities, bandsaw, and a collection of woodturning tools, full face safety masks and different sharpening stations.
Please bring any woodturning tools and l can explain what they are how they are used and how to sharpen them. However if you do not have any do not worry l have plenty

As the title suggests this course is aimed at anyone who would like to try turning for the first time. Or maybe you have just started and would like some guidance. The course will address the basics and safe practice of turning including the selection of the correct tools with which to start. .

Intermediate
A great course for those of you who have developed a sound understanding of the basics and principles but who wish to explore further. Tailored to your own requirements, this course offers the choice of turning hollow forms, bowls, platters, or an area that you specify.
For this course you can bring your own tools as well as having the use of mind
